Old Pal and TILT Holdings have come together to launch Baked At Home— a cannabis-infused brownie box mix made with simple, straightforward ingredients. Just add eggs and butter to this nostalgic brownie box made with sugar, salt, baking powder, and real cocoa–infused with 100mg of powdered THC.
Consumers are invited to bake them at 350 degrees in a long brownie glass baking container or tin. The box is enough for 20 brownies, dosed at about 5 milligrams each. It’s a helpful innovation for edible consumers when it comes to dosing at home baked goods.
“Most cannabis consumers remember their first infused brownies as being a formative experience. However, they were probably messy, uncertain, and impossible to dose correctly. That’s why we collaborated with the team at TILT to develop ‘Baked at Home’ as a convenient box mix,” said Old Pal Co-founder and chief executive officer Rusty Wilenkin. “We wanted to create a mixture as easy to make as any other non-infused version, with the added benefit of cannabis for unwinding during the Holiday period.”
Sold per box at a suggested $25 retail, each Baked at Home brownie mix is consumer accessible and affordable. The mix is infused with a water-soluble powder created from locally sourced cannabis oil, which increases the bioavailability of the THC and allows the distillate to bond with the mix in powder form. The resulting product? A nostalgic, traditional, off-the-shelf, baked goods box mix that echoes the ones that buyers can find at most grocery stores.
