Bush Family Farms has deep roots in California cannabis.
The cultivators began over 40 years ago when its founder allegedly provided marketing services for Emerald Triangle producers to customers in Southern California. In 2011, the company operated a Collective Dispensary known as the Compassionate Care Centers in the Central Valley under the Compassionate Use Act of 1996. In 2013, Bush Family Farms began cultivating in Mendocino County and thereafter participated in the Sheriff’s 99 plant program, the County Agriculture program, and the current Mendocino Cannabis Department permit program.
Its founder and President Kevin Bush is a powerful voice and advocate for black entrepreneurs, social equity regulations, and veterans in the industry. Bush Family Farms proudly represents black-owned, native-owned, and veteran-owned cannabis businesses, and celebrates the communities that its cannabis serves.
Bush Family Farms is social equity designated in Mendocino County, one of the very few minority-owned licensed farms in the legendary county known over the world for its pristine cannabis-growing environment.
Bush Family Farms is award-winning for its cannabis, awarded a Silver Medal at the California State Fair in 2022 for its MAC submission. The farm is best-know for its Flower. The brand is soon rolling out pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, and beverages to the product lineup.
Its cannabis flower is grown from seed start and without the use of pesticides or other harmful inputs. Bush Family Farms sources its seeds from existing seed stock and well-known and respected breeders. Any and all products that they intend to add to their menu will be sole-sourced to maintain the highest level of quality.
