You may recognize craft brand Decibel Gardens from its impressive showing at HOF Santa Rosa earlier this year. Remarkable growing techniques allow this Florida-born and Santa Cruz-based brand to stand out among the competition. Retailers were drawn to its unique, stunning bud structures and rare, in-house-bred strains and cultivars.
“Our primary focus is flower and genetics,” says the Decibel Gardens team. The company was founded in 2016 by Derek Teal, who has been growing cannabis for 15+ years. Originally hailing from Florida, in 2022, Decibel relaunched the brand to run parallel with the new facility they designed and built in Santa Cruz, California. Consumers across the state can rejoice in this welcomed craft cannabis addition to the marketplace.
One of Decibel’s most recent strains to enter the market is Roswell 47. It’s a cross between Jealousy x Cnote X Watermelon Punch that was bred in-house by Decibel. The look, terpene profile, and flavor of this strain are something special. “Our portfolio consists of flavors that are very distinct from one another,” says Decibel Gardens in an interview with HOF. “The goal is to have very little overlap and similarities between strains. This one is for the purple, trichome gas lovers!”
Roswell 47 is currently available all across the state of California. Decibel Gardens’ offerings can be found in approximately 75 retailers across the state. The brand’s founder says he is focused on growing in California before pursuing other markets. Decibel is “the definiton of loud.”
